This week on Thursday, July 13th, the Summer Sounds Concert Series will be taking place at Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown. The Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting this concert featuring the Coastline Band, and the show will start at 6 p.m.
Friday, July 14th, the Bladen County Extension and Community Association will hold their annual Christmas in July event Friday, July 14th, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Powell-Melvin Agricultural Service Center. The Powell-Melvin Building is located on Smith Circle in Elizabethtown. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Booth rental is $10 and lunch is $5. On Saturday, Desmond Bryant will hold a free football camp at East Bladen High School from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
