On Saturday morning, over 150 women gathered at The Venue at White Lake for a women’s conference presented by G.I.F.T. – Girlfriends In Faith Together. The guest speakers for the event were Teresa Allen and Robin Moffitt and the music was led by OASIS Bethany Church of God Praise Band! GIFT Ministry organizers Tonya Hoglen and Barbara Knight are thankful for all the volunteers, participants and prayers that made the event so successful.
Barbara Knight said, “I’m still in awe how God moved and touch the hearts of so many women! Oasis Praise band is so gifted and the music was wonderful.”
Robin Moffitt, a women’s ministry leader from Oak Island, gave a challenging message on What is your legacy? “She hit the soul of our hearts asking what can you take to heaven—-only the people you witness to and accept Christ —especially our children” said Knight.
Teresa Allen of Merry Hearts Ministries of Angier, shared how we can self medicate our hearts with Joy in God’s word and shared her story of redemption. GIFT is already planning for next year with a date of September 30, 2017.
