Located just off West Broad Street in Elizabethtown, the trail can be easily accessed from the lower parking lot, inviting visitors to embark on a journey of discovery and adventure.
Cape Fear Sorba, a chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to crafting, enhancing, and conserving exceptional trail experiences for mountain biking enthusiasts across the Cape Fear Region of North Carolina. Since its inception in the fall of 2009, Cape Fear Sorba has been at the forefront of promoting outdoor recreation and fostering a sense of community among riders.
Initially formed by a group of passionate individuals within the Cape Fear Cyclists community, Cape Fear Sorba has since grown to include over 170 members. Their dedication and hard work have resulted in developing and maintaining trails spanning New Hanover, Bladen, and Brunswick Counties, including the renowned Browns Creek Bike Trail and Nature Trail.
Situated discreetly off Highway 87, opposite the Elizabethtown airport, Browns Creek Nature Trail and Mountain Bike Park attracts thousands of tourists each year, drawn by the allure of its scenic beauty and recreational opportunities.
