Local men are meeting together once a week for a prayer service. This week’s meeting will be held today, Tuesday, September 15, at 7 pm at Greater Vision Church. The church is located at 329 Singletary Millpond Road in Bladenboro.

Evangelist David Pait said, “God has started a prayer movement in Bladen County that’s reaching into surrounding counties.”

Any men interested in joining the weekly men’s prayer service is welcome to attend. According to Evangelist Pait, the prayer meetings will be held at the Bladen County Courthouse every Tuesday in October starting at 7 p.m. Social distancing is practiced at each event.

Another opportunity for prayer is approaching fast. Bladen County faith-based leaders have organized an event open to the public to recognize the National Day of Prayer. On Saturday, September 26 at 12 noon everyone is invited to participate in a prayer service to be held at the Bladenboro Historical Building located at 818 S. Main Street in Bladenboro, NC.

Pastor Jason Williams, with Foundation Church, reminds those who want to participate to share the message on social media with the hashtag: #Iwillpray.
