For many, Summer’s end brings disappointment. For me, personally, Fall is my very favorite time of year! There are so many things to enjoy during this season that we are stepping into… and that is exactly what this new article series is all about – enjoying Fall in Bladen County!

The Autumn Equinox will officially take place on September 22nd, so we are a little bit ahead of the game. That means that now is the perfect time to start marking your calendars for all of the fun Fall festivals coming up in the next couple of months!

First on the Fall Festival lineup is the 30th Annual Dublin Peanut Festival! On September 17th, the family tradition of the Dublin Peanut Festival continues with a parade, craft and food vendors, the Classic Cruisers Car Show, live music, and more! Read more: Dublin Peanut Festival.

Coming up next will be the NC Grape Festival at Lu Mil Vineyard. There will be vendors of all kinds, bounce houses, Chick Fil A, grape stomping, wine tasting, live music, face painting, gem mining, and free face painting on October 8th from 10 am until 3 pm at Lu Mil Vineyard.

Last but not least is the Beast of Bladenboro Festival on October 28th and 29th. Boost the Boro, a non-profit organization that hosts this big event each year, always strives to make each annual Beast Fest better than the year before. There will be a wide variety of craft vendors, food trucks, costume contests, Fun Time Carnival Rides, a cornhole tournament, live music, a classic car show, and more. Read more: Beast Fest

Be sure to mark your calendars for these fun family events right here in Bladen County! By attending, you are not only making memories and enjoying the Fall season, but you are also supporting local businesses and merchants.

If you would like to branch out a little further away from home, there are plenty of other Fall Festivals on North Carolina’s agenda. Some include:
