FCMDThe North Carolina Wildlife Federation’s Farmer’s & Communities Manage Deer program will conduct a community meeting in Riegelwood on Thursday, July 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Riegelwood Community Center. The meeting is open to the public.

For farmer’s who are searching for assistance with crop damage from deer, a hunter or a member of a hunt club willing to donate deer, a food bank or a food shelter in search of a source of protein for the hungry, an individual wanting to know more about deer management, or a member of any community organization interested in participating in the program, you are encouraged to attend the meeting on July 21.

This program was developed by the NC Wildlife Federation to help sustainably manage white-tailed deer, assist farmers, and feed the hungry. It’s a collaborative effort with NC Hunters for the Hungry and financial support comes from the NC Tobacco Trust Fund Commission.
