With his twin brother Larrell Murchison making his decision to commit to play football next season at the University of Mississippi, the local recruiting focus now turns to where is Farrell Murchison going to play football at in 2017.

Farrell has already visited North Carolina, Kentucky and Marshall. He is still expected to visit Houston and the University of Texas. There is also a rumor that East Carolina may be a possibility as well.

Farrell Murchison rushed for 1,622 yards and 17 touchdowns in his career at Louisburg. In 2016 Farrell and Larrell led the Hurricanes to a 9-0 record.

At East Bladen High, Farrell broke all the Eagle career and season rushing records. In 2014 he rushed for a school record 2,491 yards and 37 touchdowns. For his career, Farrell ran for 5,700 yards and 73 touchdown breaking the school career record by almost 1,000 yards.

National Signing Day for recruits to sign their Letters of Intent is February 5th.
