The Small Business Center (SBC) of Bladen Community College is offering several great new no-cost seminars and webinar this month.

The main campus in Building 2, Room 202 hosts useful seminars throughout the month starting on Saturday February 16 from 9 AM to 12PM, “Grant Writing 101” will provide the basic information for starting the process to write grants. The back to back food series seminars “Starting an NC Food Business” will be live streamed on Tuesday February 19 from 6:30 to 8:00PM and “Marketing Roadmap for Food Businesses” will be offered at the same time on Tuesday February 26.

The Bladen County Public Library hosts a timely seminar. On Thursday February 21st from 6 to 8PM, “Improving Your Credit for a Business Loan” will provide great tips and the latest information for improving your credit score.

Online webinars are also available this month.

“Best Business to Start in 2019” will be presented on Thursday, February 7th from 11AM to 12PM and provide guidance on what opportunities exist in the new year.

“Choosing the Right Business Structure” will be presented on Wednesday, February 21st from 1:30 to 2:30 PM and give attendees guidance from an attorney on which corporate structure to use for their business.

“Understanding Millennials for Churches and Non-Profits” will be presented on Monday, February 25th from 6 to 8PM. As a new offering, it will also be streamed live at the new location of the small business center in the Small Business Incubator at 207 E. Broad St in Elizabethtown.

All seminars and webinars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
