Greetings! 3 things to know for Wednesday, February 4

Williams1. Palmer Williams Jr., who portrays Floyd on Tyler Perry’s “Love Thy Neighbor” on the Oprah Winfrey Network, is scheduled to be interviewed today at 3 o’clock on WBLA 1440-AM. Williams (pictured) will be in town Saturday to host the production of “He Cheated! Why Me?” at Elizabethtown Middle School. Euclid Gray, who was in the cast of “Meet the Browns,” is scheduled to be interviewed at 3 p.m. Thursday on the local radio station. Gray will perform in Saturday’s play, which is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. For information, call (910) 988-4475.

2. North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory will give his State of the State address tonight at the Legislative Building in Raleigh, where he will, undoubtedly, state that the state is in a fine state. It’s scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and can be seen on UNC-TV or online at http://www.governor.state.nc.us/

3. Of far less importance, but of much more interest, tonight’s Powerball jackpot is expected to be $317 million, which is the largest in a year. Should a ticket beat the odds of 1 in 175 million to win the current jackpot, it could be claimed in 30 annuity payments or as a one-time cash payment of $220.6 million. Great decision to be forced to make.

And now you know.
