On Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club played hard and gave big. With leadership from coaches, teachers and parents the Christian club members from both East Bladen High School and West Bladen High School let their lights shine bright for a great cause.

The club held their annual Powder Puff game. It was held to benefit the Bladen Crisis Food Bank at West Bladen High School. The East Bladen and West Bladen ladies played an aggressive game of flag football while other ladies and some gentlemen students cheered from the sidelines.

Teacher and sponsor, Cheryl West said on her Facebook page after the event, “East vs. West Powder Puff was again a huge success and benefits for our local food bank!” West thanked everyone for donating cans and money.

She ended by saying, “[We are] so proud of these young people and how they can come together to fight hunger!”
