Members of FEMA have been diligently working in the Cape Fear Region since Hurricane Matthew struck. They have been busy inspecting properties owned by individuals who have submitted their applications for FEMA aid.
Some folks have been reporting scam artists attempting to pass themselves off as FEMA representatives since the storm struck.
