DURHAM, NC – All three FEMA/North Carolina Emergency Management disaster recovery centers will be closed Saturday due to this weekend’s predicted winter storm.

The centers will reopen at 9 a.m. Monday, or as soon as conditions allow.

Disaster recovery centers are located at:

Robeson County Disaster Recovery Center
Old Kmart
2750 N. Roberts Ave.
Lumberton, NC  28358
Edgecombe County Disaster Recovery Center
Edgecombe County Health Department
3003 N. Main Street
Tarboro, NC 27886
Cumberland County Disaster Recovery Center
Cumberland County Department of Social Services
1225 Ramsey Street
Fayetteville, NC 28301-4401

Normal operating hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. All centers are closed on Sunday. During this closure you may call the FEMA Helpline with any questions at 800-621-3362 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. daily.

The Wayne County Disaster Recovery Center in Goldsboro closes permanently at 6 p.m. Friday.

If you need to register with FEMA before the Jan. 9 deadline, you can still do so:

  • Online at DisasterAssistance.gov.
  • Call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 for voice, 711 and Video Relay Service. If you are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech disability and use a TTY, call 800-462-7585.
  • Download the FEMA Mobile App and apply.
