Yesterday First South Bank held one of the most attended Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies in Bladen County in a while according to some. The bank’s motto, “You First”, came through loud and clear at the event.

First South Bank founded back in 1902, serves eastern and central North Carolina. Since the transition between Bank of America and First South Bank, Pam Morris, Branch Manager, Afton Shaw, Assistant Manager, Lauren Godwin, Financial Services Associates, Joey Schultz, City Executive, and other bank staff members have been working hard on building solid relationships with Bladen County residents.

First South Bank staff members; Mayor, Sylvia Campbell; Charlotte Smith, Chamber President; and Dawn Manyard, Chamber Executive Director welcomed the crowd to the celebration. President and CEO of the bank, Bruce Elder helped cut the ribbon at the ceremony and was pictured surrounded by bank employees and the Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber of Commerce.
