Flags were flying at half staff in Bladen County on Tuesday to honor and remember the victims of Sunday night’s shooting in Las Vegas.

The shooting claimed the lives of 59 people, including gunman Stephen Paddock, and left more than 500 people wounded. Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival that was taking place across the street. It was the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
