ST PAULS – Southeastern Athletic Conference leader St. Pauls built a 32-6 halftime lead en route to a 46-12 football victory over East Bladen Friday night.

Seniors Sherman Monroe and Tim McLean ran for 1 touchdown each for the Eagles, who are now 2-2 in SAC-7 play and 3-5 overall.

Martev Gunter returned the opening kickoff for a St Pauls touchdown. Star running back Kemarion Baldwin ran for 2 Bulldog touchdowns, and Ja’queze Anderson powered into the end zone for a TD.

Quarterback Mikail Breeden threw Bulldog touchdown passes to Eddrick James and Elston Powell.

East Bladen will host Midway Friday night in a game that could solidify the Eagles chances for a ‘Wild Card’ berth in the NCHSAA Class 2A playoffs.

St. Pauls boosted their unbeaten record to 4-0 in league play and 6-0 overall.
