Wallace-Rose Hill scored two early kick return touchdowns and grabbed an early 21-0 lead en route to a 42-0 Four County Conference football victory over visiting West Bladen Thursday night.
Senior Keyshawn Canady returned the opening kick-off 72 yards for the first Bulldog touchdown, and senior Johnnie Glaspie returned a Knight punt 58 yards for the second Wallace-Rose Hill touchdown.
Junior Yahir Cano tacked on the conversion kick after all six Bulldog touchdowns.
Glaspie bolted 62 yards from scrimmage for the third Wallace touchdown and ran 3 yards for his third touchdown of the first half as the lead grew to 28-0.
West Bladen mounted a 79-yard drive in the first half that reached the Bulldog one yard line. The Knights thought they had scored on first down, but the officials didn’t agree and an interception on fourth down ended the threat.
Junior quarterback Aliza Carter tossed a 15-yard pass to senior Alex Lisane for a third-quarter Bulldog touchdown, and Lisane scooted 46 yards for the final touchdown.
Sophomore B. J. Drake rushed for 61 yards on 17 carries to lead the Knight offense, and junior James Moore ran for 60 yards on 13 attempts.
