Once again this year a former resident of Elizabethtown and his team were the top 2018 brokers of property by sold volume on Wrightsville Beach. Jim Hardee, son of Mrs. Francis Hardee and the late Mr. Hardee of Elizabethtown, and his organization, Hardee, Hunt and Williams, topped the list of brokers operating on the beach.
In 2018 Hardee, Hunt and Williams sold 34 properties for a total of $37,288,000 for an average of $1,114,352 per sale. Hardee, Hunt and Williams came in 5th in New Hanover county with 41 sales for a total of $39,383,750 for an average of $960,579 each.
Hardee and his wife, the former Beverly Hester of Clarkton, have two sons, Fisher and Jackson, and reside on Harbor Island at Wrightsville Beach.
