DUNN – West Bladen’s Isaac Mendoza and Daniel Gustafson and East Bladen’s Chase Knight and Bailey Williams have been named to the All-Southeastern Athletic Conference golf team.
Mendoza compiled an 89-stoke scoring average for his 8 SAC-7 matches. His low score in competition was an 84 that he shot in 2 different matches. Gustafson averaged 90.75 strokes for his 8 conference matches with a low score of 86.
Williams shot an 81 in his opening match of the season and averaged 89.625 for his 8 SAC-7 matches. Knight was right behind him with an 89.75 average in conference play and fired a 78 in his next-to-last SAC-7 match.
Conference champion Midway had the SAC-7 Coach of the Year in Adam Capps and the SAC-7 Player of the Year in Logan Atkins.
