Four County EMC continues to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian and ready to respond to any outages that may occur.
The exact timing and path remain uncertain, but keep in mind, the conditions that could accompany the major storm, include heavy rainfall and area flooding, as well as high winds that has the potential to lead to power outages.

Four County EMC crews as well as additional contract line workers and tree trimming crews are on standby prepared to respond to outages after Hurricane Dorian passes through our area later this week.
Crews are poised to quickly restore any power outages as soon as conditions are safe to do so.

Safety:
Stay far away from downed or sagging power lines. Always assume that a power line is energized and potentially deadly.
Never wade into, or drive through, flood water.
Never touch a downed power line, and remember that sometimes debris can cover fallen lines, making them difficult to spot.
