There will be a free Audition Skills Workshop for Performing Artists Desiring To Safely Enter the Entertainment Industry, today, May 23, at 2:00 pm at the Bladen County Library in Elizabethtown. The RPA of Bladen County & Talent Inc wants to educate aspiring performing artist’s of the skills needed for a favorable interview with Top Agents, Casting Directors, and Record Label Representatives in the Entertainment Industry.

At the end of the workshop, participants are welcome to audition for a chance to interview one on one with Top Agents and Record Labels, attend Master Workshops by the Top Agents, and perform in a National Showcase.

Option to train for Acting for TV/Film, Modeling for Print and Runway, and Private Instrumental Lessons in Violin and Piano is available, but in no way mandatory to enjoy and participate in our periodic free educational workshops.

What to Bring:
Everyone: Pen and Pad to Taken Notes
Dancers: Dress Appropriately, Bring CD with Music Queued – 1 Minute Audition
Singers: A capella – I Minute Audition
Actors: 1 Minute Memorized Monologue or Film Audition (if not applicable, a 20 second TV Commercial Script will be provided as a cold read)
Models: Ages 4 – 12 Walk the Runway, Bring Head and Body Shot if You Have Them
Models Age 12 – Adult: Walk the Runway, Bring Appropriate High Heel Shoe (closed toe), Head and Body Shot if You Have Them
