Chris Ingram of Four County Electric Corp. and Bladen County Division of Aging Director Kelly Robeson hold one of the box fans to be given to elderly and disabled people to help with the upcoming summer heat.

The Division of Aging are now supplying Box Fans for elderly and disabled members of the community.

The Box Fans were donated by Four County Electric Membership Company and Duke Progress Energy to assist the elderly and disabled with their cooling expenses during the hot summer months.

The elderly and disabled persons will need to contact Kelly Robeson at 910-872-6330 or go to the Division of Aging, 608 McLeod St., Elizabethtown, NC to make arrangements to pick up the free fans. The fans will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis until supplies have been depleted.

The elderly will need to bring a copy of their most recent electric bill and their identification.

The disabled will need to bring proof of their disability and their identification.
