The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a freeze warning for Bladen and surrounding counties from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday.
Temperatures are expected to be in the low 30s from late Saturday night into Sunday.
Sensitive patio plants and garden vegetables may be killed by freezing temperatures.
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetables.
