On April 15th, 1986, East Bladen was able to have a conference win over South Brunswick.

South Brunswick was able to take a 2-0 lead at the bottom of the fifth inning off of John Schultz. The Cougars made a comeback with four to gain the 4-2 lead in the sixth inning.

In the sixth, after Randy Hill walked and Wally Brisson singled, Phillip Green singled to score Hill. Schultz was then able to single to score Brisson, and Chris Campbell reached on an error with Schultz and Green scoring.

In the seventh, East Bladen took a 7-6 lead when Vince Campbell singled and took second on a single by Wally Brisson. A walk to Green loaded the bases, and a walk to Schultz scored Campbell. Brisson scored on a passed ball, and Chirs Campbell reached on an error to score Green with the go-ahead run.

Schultz was able to claim the win with seven hits, three walks, and striking out three. East Bladen committed eight errors.
