A total of 14 players participated in the September 1 Tossup at Vineyard Golf At White Lake.
Two teams tied for first place on the front side. The team of Stacy Owen, Jimmy Davis, Ann Tessenear, Charles DeVane, and Lenon Fisher tied the team of Mac Porter, Lloyd Hester, David Cross and Norgie Hester. Both teams shot three-under par. The Owen team took the backside with a score of two-under par.
With the weather cooling off, it is a perfect time to enjoy the great condition of Vineyard Golf by participating in the tossup events. Tossups are usually held, weather permitting, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11 a.m. For more information call the pro shop at 910-247-6132.
