Bladen County Public Library’s volunteer group, Friends of the Library, is hosting a Valentine’s Day gift basket raffle with valuable basket-fillers. With valuable and generous contributions from local merchants and businesses, the gift basket is certainly desirable!
According to Library Director Sheila Nance, “Friends of the Bladen County Library is an independent volunteer group raising funds to apply for nonprofit status so that they can work and fundraise on behalf of our great library!”
The gift basket is being raffled by ticket sales. Tickets are $5 each, or three for $10. You can purchase your tickets at any of the three Bladen County Library branches, located in Elizabethtown, Clarkton, and Bladenboro. The drawing for the winning ticket will take place on Valentine’s Day.
