Just recently, Bladen County resident Thomas Faircloth received life-changing news that he has been diagnosed with stage four metastatic colon cancer.

Stage four metastatic colon cancer occurs when cancer in the colon spreads to other tissues and organs. Colon cancer most commonly travels to the liver, although it can also move to the lungs, lymph nodes, or the abdominal cavity lining.

As you may know, cancer treatment is extremely expensive, so the Faircloths are fundraising to help pay for hospital bills. They are selling prize raffle and chicken and rice bowl tickets to support Thomas Faircloth during this time.

The prize raffle tickets are 10 dollars each. The first prize winner will be rewarded a “Bintelli Electric Bike of their choice that is in stock, in inventory, or 1000 dollars cash.” Other raffle winners can expect sports memorabilia like “autographed jerseys, canvases, helmets, and much more.”

The chicken and rice bowl tickets are just 7 dollars each. “To purchase tickets, please contact Kent Fisher at 910-874-2395 or stop by Coach’s Place Golf Carts,” located at 3750 US-701 Elizabethtown, North Carolina.

“Drawing for the raffle and chicken and rice bowl pick up will be on December 21, 2022. To view items in the raffle, visit Coach’s Place Inc.’s Facebook Page.”
