Mr. Gene Ray Bedsole, age 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Ed Boggess will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors Wednesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
He was born March 27, 1938, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to the late Sydney Averitt and Ruby Dunham Bedsole. He was retired from AEDC as Personnel Director, and a faithful member of Fairlane Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death were brothers, Junious Bedsole, Harvey Bedsole, Raymond Bedsole, Amos Bedsole and sisters, Berline Jones and Frances Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Micaela Sadler Bedsole, of Shelbyville; a son, Nick (Renita) Bedsole, of Murfreesboro, and a daughter, Michele Bedsole (Harry) Davis, of Tallahassee, Florida; five grandchildren, Connor Ray Bedsole, Carly Tate Bedsole, Peyton Davis, Colin Davis, and Katherine Davis; a brother, Morris Bedsole, and sisters, Ruby Mac Martin and Elizabeth Bowen.

Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
