BLADENBORO – Senior Lainey Autry and junior Kiera Lewis fired in 12 points each Tuesday night to lead West Bladen’s Lady Knights to their 7th straight win – 60-24 over South Columbus – in non-conference girls’ basketball action.

Ten different players scored for Coach Brian McCleney’s Lady Knights, now 7-1, who will travel to North Brunswick Wednesday night for their final game of 2022. Sophomore Holland Davis and freshman Kali Allen tossed in 8 points each. Junior Brookee Singletary pumped in 6 points, and senior Rylee Chadwick added 5.

Autry popped in a pair of baskets during an early 17-6 West Bladen surge. Allen and freshman Natalee Sykes buried 3-point shots, and Singletary and Lewis flipped in baskets. Junior Megan Pait sank 2 free throws.

Davis and Autry bombed in 3-point shots in the 2nd period, and Singletary and senior Kirsten Warrick drained 2 free throws each as the Lady Knight lead grew to 27-10 at halftime.

Autry and Davis nailed 3-point shots in the 3rd quarter. Davis tacked on 2 free throws, and freshman Faith Wren and Allen threw in baskets to pad the lead to 39-19.

Lewis blistered the nets with a 3-ball, 2 more baskets and a trio of free throws to spark a 21-5 West closing run. Allen knocked down another 3-point shot. Chadwick sank 2 free throws and another basket, and Singletary and Autry rang up a basket each.

Bella Coleman led the Lady Stallions with 8 points.
