Clinton exploded for 8 second-half goals to claim a 9-0 Four County Conference girls soccer victory at East Bladen Friday night.
The Lady Dark Horses scored the game’s first goal just before halftime then broke loose for 4 goals in the first 20 minutes of the second half.
Clinton improves to 2-0 in league play and 5-3 overall. The Lady Eagles suffered their first loss of the season and are 1-1 in Four County play and 7-1 overall. East Bladen will host Pender Tuesday at 6 p.m.
