TABOR CITY – Iveonna “NeNe” Ward and Heidi Rebollar scored goals Wednesday night to lead East Bladen to a 2-0 non-conference girls’ soccer victory over South Columbus.
Ward, a sophomore, darted down the field and banged in her goal in the first 26 seconds of play. Rebollar, a junior, found the back of the net in the 2nd half for the other Lady Eagle goal.
Coach Jay Raynor’s Lady Eagles improved to 5-2-1 and will travel to Southeastern Athletic Conference front-runner Clinton Friday for a 6 p.m. game.
