East Bladen High SchoolCERRO GORDO – Senior Hannah Devane and freshman Kenia Medina fired in goals Friday to lead East Bladen to a 2-0 victory over West Columbus in Three Rivers Conference girls soccer action.
Devane and sophomore Patience Ward dished out assists in the game. East Bladen scored one goal in each half to record the victory.

Medina paced the Lady Eagle defense with 15 steals. Freshmen Katie Evans and Lily Lin totaled 14 steals each. Devane recorded 13 steals in the game. Ward finished with 11 steals, and sophmores Cybil Campbell and Gracyn Martin followed with 10 steals each.

Junior Ting Lin recorded 3 saves in goal for the Lady Eagles. East Bladen had 13 shots on goal led by Devane with 4 and Ward with 3. West Columbus had 6 shots on goal.

Coach Jay Raynor’s Lady Eagles improved to 12-0 in league play and 15-0 overall. East Bladen will host Red Springs Tuesday at 6 p.m.
