ELIZABETHTOWN – Senior Hannah Devane posted a ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals Thursday night to lead East Bladen to a 7-0 Three Rivers Conference girls soccer victory over East Columbus.

Devane also dished out two assists and was credited with 15 steals. Freshman Katie Evans fired in 2 goals and was credited with 2 assists and 17 steals. Freshman Kenia Medina also racked up 2 goals and had one assist and 18 steals.

Sophmores Cybil Campbell and Bailey Davis contributed one assist each to the East Bladen attack. Campbell also collected 14 steals.

Freshman Sara Gargala sparked the Lady Eagle defense with 22 steals. Sophmore Gracyn Martin totaled 16 steals, and sophmore Patience Ward finished with 14 steals.

The Lady Eagles outshot the Lady Gators 28-1 and had 25 shots on goal. Devane led East Bladen with 6 shots on goal, and Evans and Medina followed with 5 shots on goal each. Ward finished with 4 shots on goal.

Junior Ting Lin recorded the shutout in goal for the Lady Eagles and did not have to make a save. East Bladen led 4-0 at halftime.

Coach Jay Raynor’s Lady Eagles improved to 10-0 in Three Rivers play and 12-0 overall. East Bladen will travel to Scotland Friday for a 6 p.m. match.
