ST PAULS- Junior Mya McDonald blistered the nets with a ‘Double Hat Trick’ of 6 goals Wednesday night that led East Bladen’s unbeaten Lady Eagles to an 8-0 Three Rivers Conference girls’ soccer victory over St. Pauls.

McDonald fired in 5 goals Monday night against West Bladen and has now scored 11 goals in the last 2 games.

Against St. Pauls McDonald dished out an assist and racked up 18 steals. Senior Katie Evans knocked in a goal and was credited with an assist. Her sister, freshman Molly Evans, also contributed a goal and an assist.

Sophomore Acee Campbell totaled a game-high 2 assists and had 20 steals for the Lady Eagles. Freshman Zoe Smith added an assist and 21 steals. Senior Sara Gargala topped the East Bladen defense with 28 steals, and Katie Evans was right behind her with 25 steals.

Freshman Reese Hester collected 19 steals, and sophomore Cydney Campbell and Molly Evans finished with 18 steals each. Freshman McKenzie Storms was credited with 17 steals, and sophomore Ashlyn Williams and senior Josephina Torres totaled 15 steals each.

Coach Jay Raynor’s Lady Eagles improved to 1-0 in league play and 6-0 overall. East Bladen will host St. Pauls in a non-conference game Thursday at 5:30.
