LELAND – North Brunswick scored a pair of 1st half goals and defeated West Bladen 3-0 Thursday night in non-conference girls’ soccer action.
Sophomore Haileigh Seabolt sparked the Lady Knight defense with 8 steals. Senior Kaden Thurman and sophomore Ashley Sanchez-Resendiz came up with 6 steals each. Senior Lainey Autry collected 5 steals, and junior Shamaria Jackson and senior Nadia Diaz Deleon had 4 steals each.
Junior Briana Carranza Toledo recorded 2 saves in goal for the Lady Knights in the 1st half. Sophomore Jazmy Funez Aranda was credited with 4 saves for West in the 2nd half.
West Bladen, now 2-4, will host Clinton Friday at 6 p.m. in Southeastern Athletic Conference action.
