TABOR CITY – South Columbus edged West Bladen 3-2 Thursday night in Three Rivers Conference girls soccer action.

Sophmore Claudia Reyes fired in a goal in the 15th minute of play to give West Bladen an early 1-0 lead. Four minutes later the Lady Stallions tied the game 1-1.

Nine minutes into the second half, South Columbus took a 2-1 lead and tacked on another goal 16 minutes later.

Junior Hannah Arnett found the back of the net with a goal with 1:01 left to play that pulled the Lady Knights to within 3-2.

Sophmore Alyssa Smith was credited with 8 saves in goal for the Lady Knights.

West Bladen will travel to Wallace-Rose Hill Monday for a non-conference match.
