RED SPRINGS – Senior Hannah Hester fired in 2 goals Tuesday night to lead West Bladen to a 4-2 Southeastern Athletic Conference girls soccer victory over Red Springs.
Junior Kaden Thurman knocked in 1 goal and dished out 1 assist for the Lady Knights. Freshman Jazmy Funez Aranda scored the other West Bladen goal. Junior Makayla Wright and sophomore Sarah Dillard were credited with 1 assist each for the winners. Brookee Singletary had an assist for West Bladen.
Sophomore Briana Carranza Toledo had 4 saves in goal for the Lady Knights.
Coach Kristen Parker’s Lady Knights improved to 1-2 in SAC-7 play and evened their record at 2-2 overall. West Bladen will travel to South Columbus Thursday for a 5 p.m. non-conference match.
