Some interesting golf activities have taken place recently at Vineyard Golf. David Cross recently shot one stroke under his age. Cross, 77, fired a four-over par 76.
Ty Wilson holed out his second shot from 170 yards on the 440 yard par 4 eleventh hole for an eagle.
Jake Womble recently shot a one-over par 73 from the blue tees.
The Thundering Herd starts Thursday, April 7 at 6 p.m. The cost of the nine hole event is $18 for members and $20 for guests. If you are interested in playing call the pro shop at 910-247-6132 before 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
