There is a flurry of activity at Vineyard Golf at White Lake located between Elizabethtown and White Lake. The course, and it’s Miniverde greens, is in excellent shape. Recently fertilizer has been applied and the rains have brought the course to a brilliant green. Some low scores recorded recently were Mac Porter shooting his age of 2-under par 70 and George Boussais firing a l-over par 73.
As of Tuesday, April 14 there were over 45 teams signed up for the BLADEN WE CARE BYRON GOODEN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT scheduled for April 23. There will be an A.M. tourney and a P.M. tourney with teams being blind flighted. This is the 26th year that this charity event has been played.
