The East Bladen boys’ golf team won the Waccamaw 1A Conference title Monday, shooting a 392 in the match played at Diamondback Golf Club in Loris, South Carolina.
The N.C. High School Athletic Association 1A regional tournament is scheduled May 5 at Lane Tree Golf Club in Goldsboro.
East Bladen players and their scores in Monday’s round: Henry Simmons 93, Conner Smith 98, Dylan Register 104 and Hunter Simmons 114.
South Columbus claimed the Waccamaw 2A Conference championship. The Stallions won Monday’s match with a 377 team score. Whiteville shot 400 to finish third.
SFGA Play At Land ‘O Lakes
The Southeastern Fellowship Golf Association played a four-net score Stableford format tournament Tuesday at Land ‘O Lakes Golf Club with 35 members participating.
Next Tuesday’s tournament is scheduled to be played at Pinecrest Country Club in Lumberton.
