This Saturday, November 2, golf enthusiasts gathered at Lockwood Folly Country Club for a meaningful cause—to raise funds for *Carousel Child Advocacy Center. The event brought together community members for Carousel’s “Tee It Off FORE the Kids” tournament, aimed at supporting local children in need.
The tournament featured various teams competing to achieve the lowest team score, with participants enjoying a day of friendly competition while contributing to an impactful cause. Among the participants, the “Fearsome Foursome” team secured second place with a score of 56. Other teams, including Johnstone Supply Team 1 and Anderson Air Team, also put in a strong showing with team scores of 58 and 68, respectively.
This fundraising event aligned with the mission of the Carousel Child Advocacy Center, a key organization that provides support to children who have experienced trauma. The Carousel Center’s presence highlighted its role in aiding children through accredited services across Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties.
