ABC television’s Good Morning America program is coming to Lumberton on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, and will be filming live at Lumberton Junior High School. The show’s producers are asking that those who volunteered or worked with donation services to appear in their audience.
Following Hurricane Matthew in October, many residents were left assessing the damage to homes and businesses and trying to comprehend the magnitude of the losses. There are many folks throughout our region who assisted those impacted by Hurricane Matthew either by volunteering at area shelters, taking up donations of supplies, assisting with clean up and removal of storm debris, and the list goes on.
Lumberton Junior High School is located at 82 Marion Road, Lumberton. Audience members are asked to line up at 5:30 a.m. and taping will begin at 7 a.m. For more information contact City of Lumberton Sgt. Det. Pete Locklear at 910-671-3845.
