McCroryNorth Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory is scheduled to be at Lu Mil Vineyard near Dublin on Tuesday to discuss with farmers the impact that the recent rains have had on their crops, then visit the farming operation of Dan Ward in Clarkton, according to the governor’s office. Commissioner of Agriculture Steve Troxler also is expected to accompany the governor on his visit to Bladen County.

The event at Lu Mil is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. with McCrory to speak about the storm’s impact on North Carolina agriculture about 1 p.m., says the governor’s office.

McCrory and Troxler will then visit Ward’s farm in Clarkton.

Lu Mil Vineyard is located at 438 Suggs-Taylor Road, Elizabethtown between Owen Hill Road and Lyon Landing Road about a mile from Dublin.

McCrory will begin Tuesday with a morning visit to the Brunswick County Emergency Operations Center in Bolivia to get an update on the state’s storm response.

Troxler is scheduled to meet with farmers at the Hyde County Courthouse in Swan Quarter on Tuesday morning before traveling to Lu Mil Vineyard.
