Two local junior golfers participated in the Carolina Golf Association’s North Carolina Junior Boy’s Championship held at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh.
Cade Hancock played in the qualifying round and shot 40-38=78. Cade in the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hancock.
Henry Pate shot 40-38=78 in the qualifying round. Henry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chip Pate.
Only 64 players advanced to the match play portion of the tournament. Neither Pate nor Hancock scored low enough to advance.
