Construction is now complete and the Elizabethtown location for Hardees is now open. The restaurant, located at 215 S. Poplar Street, opened for business at 5 a.m. Monday and Bladen County residents braved the rain to try the new eatery. While Hardees is not new to Bladen County, there has been a Hardees located in Bladenboro for many years, it has been some times since one was operated in Elizabethtown.

Construction is also wrapping up on a new Hardees location located in Tar Heel at the intersection of NC 87 and Tar Heel Ferry Road. Applications for employment at this location are being accepted online at http://www.pleaseapplyonline.com/southstar/.
