ELIZABETHTOWN – Diana Harris, RN, MSN, NE-BC, has been named Chief Nursing Officer for Bladen County Hospital.

The New Jersey native has nearly 30 years of nursing experience, previously serving as Service Line Director for Women’s and Children’s Services at Cape Fear Valley Health. Prior to that, she served as Patient Care Manager for Cape Fear Valley Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for nine years.

Harris joined Cape Fear Valley in 1993 as a staff nurse within the same unit. She received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Columbus College in Columbus, Ga., and her master’s degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She is board certified in Nursing Administration.

In her new duties, Harris will be overseeing all aspects of nursing care and administration at Bladen County Hospital.
