Harrells Christian Academy held their eighth-annual Play 4 Kay Pink Out basketball game on Friday night. The school kicked off the pink festivities with a pep rally during the school day, followed by basketball games against Cape Fear Academy later that afternoon. The fundraiser included a silent auction, bake sale, jail and bail, half and half raffle and so much more.

The tradition of Pink Out was started in honor and support of an HCA family member who was battling breast cancer. The event continued to grow and has been recognized as the largest Kay Yow Cancer Research fundraiser out of all North Carolina Schools (public and private) for the past two years.

The basketball games featured live coverage from WWAY Sports as the Crusaders defeated the Cape Fear Hurricanes. Both schools wore pink to support the fight against breast cancer.
