After an amazing season of 29-2 and a conference record of 10-0, the Crusaders hit the road Friday, February 7 winning the Coastal Independent Conference semi-final against Faith Christian and advanced to the championship game on Saturday, February 8. HCA met challenger Fayetteville Academy in the final match-up hosted by Halifax Academy.
Harrells Christian Academy’s Varsity boys clinched the championship title, defeating the Fayetteville Academy Eagles with a score of 80-69. With regular season and tournament play complete, the CIC recognized All-Conference and All-Tournament players immediately following the championship game.




All-Conference and All-Tournament are the among the highest honors an athlete may achieve for their individual performance in a team sport. Each season players are nominated by their coach(es) for their outstanding accomplishments, commitment, and dedication in their sport.
This season, 4 HCA players were named All-Conference players, including Antonio McKoy, Dashaun McKoy, Zicareian McNeil, and Amir Moore. Additionally, Antonio McKoy, Dashaun McKoy, and Zicareian McNeil were selected as All-Tournament players and Antonio McKoy was named tournament MVP.
The Crusaders’ extraordinary efforts earned the 3 seed placement and a double bye into the quarter-finals of the NCISAA State Tournament. They will play on Saturday, February 15 at 6:00 pm in the Foundation Center on the Harrells Christian Academy campus. Go Crusaders!
