The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Administrative Professionals Association (NCCEAPA) is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Herter-O’Neal Scholarship. This $750 scholarship is available to North Carolina residents pursuing a college degree in business or a business-related field of study.
Applicants must be enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program or a diploma program leading to a college degree during the 2025-2026 school year. The deadline to apply is March 20, 2025.
The Herter-O’Neal Scholarship is awarded annually in honor of Edith Herter and Frances O’Neal, who played a key role in founding the NCCEAPA in 1973. The scholarship supports students dedicated to furthering their education in business-related fields.
Qualified applicants can obtain an application packet from the financial aid office at their local community college or high school. Additional information is available through the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service at the Bladen County Center. Interested individuals can contact 910-862-4591.
