Norgie Hester, playing golf on Thursday, Nov. 7, had his eighth career hole-in-one. The feat was accomplished on No. 16 at Vineyard Golf at White Lake. Playing with Hester was Steve Godwin, Bill Rudin, and Mike Mueller.
Hester has had seven of his aces at the White Lake course and one at a course in Sanford 31 years ago on the day Hester’s grandson, Joseph, was born. Hester was playing that day with Danny McLeod and Ed Tatum.
