The month of December: Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Wednesday, December 19, 6:30 PM: Kids’ musical, “Camel Lot, Don’t Miss the Manger”
Beth has been practicing hard for the church Christmas pageant. But her dad may be too busy at work selling cars to make it to the program. Exhausted from practice, with lines from Luke 2 swirling in her mind, she drifts off to sleep and is transported in her imagination to Bethlehem 2000 years ago. Here she witnesses the familiar story first hand. Songs include “We’ve Got a Camel for You”, “Don’t Miss the Manger”, and “Bethlehem Medley.” Created by Cyndi Nine, Rob Howard, and David Guthrie. We will exchange gifts and also expect a visit from a special guest after the musical.
Sunday, December 23, 11:00 AM: Adult Choir Cantata, “Changed by a Baby Boy”
Who would have imagined that a tiny baby born in a small stable over 2,000 years ago could and would change the entire world? “Changed By a Baby Boy” rejoices in The Greatest Story Ever Told and how God’s miraculous plan impacted the world then…and now. Arranged and orchestrated by the Grammy and Dove Award-winning Lari Goss, who brings his inimitable style to this Southern Gospel-flavored musical. Veteran writer Nan Allen has created narration which uplifts and inspires, while weaving the dynamic songs…from “foot-stomping” to heartfelt and soaring ballads…into a Christmas worship experience.
